The Tasman Spin Series takes our classic boat rod formula and adapts it for the dedicated spinning enthusiast. These 7’0", 1-piece rods deliver exceptional casting distance, lure control, and the stopping power needed for serious inshore battles.
The triple-taper design features a softer tip ideal for working surface lures or presenting live baits naturally, while the moderate-fast action mid-section helps punch casts into wind and across current. The powerful butt section offers the strength to turn stubborn fish when it matters most.
Model options:
- 12–20lb: Perfect for targeting snapper, trevally, kahawai, and school kingfish with slugs, stickbaits, or softbaits. A lightweight, responsive option for all-day casting.
- 20–30lb: Suited to kingfish, mackerel, tuna, and other tough saltwater predators. The extra grunt makes it ideal for throwing larger lures or taming bigger fish near structure.
