Orlando (FL), 10 July 2019
Maven, the company bringing together retro design and impeccable technical pedigree in its exquisite fishing rods, today announced the release of its new fly collection. The Maven Mission is being launched at ICAST 2019, the world’s largest sportfishing trade show in Orlando, Florida.
The stylish Mission collection features Maven’s signature New Zealand aesthetic, with a unique cream painted under-guide, beautiful high quality Portuguese cork, sleek titanium and blue composite reel seat and stainless guides.
Simplicity, refined styling, attention to detail and hand craftsmanship – combined with advanced technology – are the hallmarks of a Maven rod. The rods are designed and manufactured in a modern facility in Auckland, New Zealand.
Maven launched its initial Gulf Collection in 2014, focused on the hugely popular finesse style of fishing. The rods, with their stylish Scandinavian inspired colour schemes, are strikingly different to the typically colour palettes that dominate the market. Maven Mission continues this custom with its thoughtful and striking design, and the highest performance carbon fibre fly technology.
